New color pickers allow you to make immediate, intuitive selections directly on the video itself when working with HSL secondaries and white balance. New VR support expands on the powerful virtual-reality features and now offers features such as auto detection of VR media, and metadata options.

Introduced earlier in 2016, the VR workflow in Premiere Pro now offers more improvements. You can work with stitched equirectangular video to show field-of-view, enabling you to replicate viewing experiences while you edit your content. New VR support expands on the powerful virtual-reality features that are part of Premiere Pro.

Enhanced support for VR Workflows

Premiere Pro now auto-detects whether your VR media is monoscopic, stereoscopic over/under, or stereoscopic right/left, so you can focus on your work and let Premiere Pro determine the proper VR settings behind the scenes. Also, you can now choose to hide the VR controls while in VR mode for a more immersive editing and playback experience. When exporting and sharing your video, you can easily add a metadata flag to your content so that VR-capable video players, such as YouTube or Facebook, automatically recognize that your content is 360-degree, giving viewers the full virtual reality experience.
